Nope. They wanted way too much and had too long of a lead time.

Thanks for the heads-up. The folks I talked to seemed plenty professional, but I guess you never know for sure.Jay,
Make sure you triple check your measurements prior to assembly with those guys. Also check your block prior to picking it up to ensure it wasn't dropped.
AJ can contest to the amount of experience I've had with these guys. Granted it was a good 6 years ago, but after dropping and breaking chunks off two expensive blocks, I refuse to bring anything there again. I've also gotten stuff back underbored. Now again, this was 6+ years ago, but its always good practice to check stuff over.
That power figure is olllllldddd from an early stage of the build. If you read the thread all the way through, you'll see he's looking for 425wtq. He's going at it right. The fact that he spent 40k, which could include the price of the car new, isn't an epic fail, the fact that he has only 350whp with 40k into the car is an epic fail.
Werd. We did have some good luck with them, but that was at the beginning when they where happy to get the new business. It seems like once they got comfortable they started fucking up and it never seemed to stop.AJ can contest to the amount of experience I've had with these guys.
Engine paint kit?Nothing really to see right now except for a pile of parts. Once I get the block cleaned up and painted, I'll throw up a pic though
That reminds me... need to order engine paint kit. lol
