Josh brought his small gas grill last year that I borrowed to cook a few things, not sure if he is going to this year or not. I don't see anything on their website about grills but that certainly doesn't mean they don't have them. Worst case I'll just cook some brats/hot dogs over the fire. It sounds like they have a 'snack bar' on site with pizza and other things which could be an alright option for a mid-day meal. I try and bring something easy for breakfast since I'm generally too hung over to want to cook a large meal lol.

As for smores someone should get Reeses Peanutbutter Cups instead of Hersheys bars, they make smores so much better (I'll probably pick some up to share)

If I end up getting a tube I'll post here - if that becomes the case and anyone has a life jacket or two made for tubing/skiing feel free to bring it with. I think I only have one that's really designed for that and I'm not sure it'll fit everyone.

LOL @ McDonalds. The town of Moose Lake is about 15-20 minutes away - they have a grocery store, subway, DQ I think, not sure what else. There may be a grocery / general store closer as well and as I mentioned they have 'some' food on site just not sure what exactly beyond pizza.

Hey Nate, I still owe you a full case of beer for help with the lighting since we didn't work on the firts one much, i figure now is another good time. Regardless of keg, name Beer and I'll bring it up :D

I plan to share pretty much everything we're bringing, so don't worry about bumming a few cups of coffee, haha. Generally if there's one thing that's NOT a problem at these mnmazda events, it's a lack of food.

Hello all! I apologize for my lack of appearances around here, I am still planning on coming! The wife was not able to get time off of work for this, so it will be my brother and I.
I will be bringing my Weber Q220 propane grill which is sufficient for grilling mass quantities of sausages and hamburgerz. I'm ok with it being community use.

I can't wait to head on up! I plan on being at whatever rally point we chose at whatever A.M. time is chosen, I took Friday off of work.

Jess- send me a PM if you need monies via paypal.

Hey Josh! Glad to hear you are still going to be able to make it. I think we have decided on 9am @ the Forest Lake Cub Foods, I guess we can discuss to make sure that is the case and make sure it's clear in the first post. Do you have a large propane tank for your grill or does it use those small ones? If it's the small ones I can bring a couple along, just let me know.

Picklz- my grill uses the little ones, I have an adapter for it to use the normal tanks, but my normal tank is having technical difficulties. If you bring a couple extra little ones with it wouldn't hurt!

Cool - I may bring my turkey fryer which has a large propane tank (this will ensure I catch no fish), so if you have the adapter for your grill bring it along. If I don't bring that I'll make sure to have a couple little tanks with.

If you look at the map again for the campground, we are in sites 63-69, so it will be a community feeling. We get to set up our tents as we like and will have space for a food area. I will be bringing my little gas grill again this year and maybe the cook stove, if it finally works. I am still waiting on the word for the keg cooler.
As far as food, all that has been discussed is good. Sandwich makings are a great thing to bring for afternoon delights! I prefer bagels and cream cheese for breakfast myself but we will have plenty of food as has been discussed. I used to have big forks to roast over the fire but they have been MIA this season. Reeses is the only way to eat a smores!
LOL times 2 on the McDs. There is not anything too close by but I am sure they will have any super necessities on site.
Another "must have" item is anti-bacterial wipes. It is nice to use them once in a while so no one gets e-coli like my friend did the one year.
We do usually have enough garbage bags, paper towels, plastic ware, paper plates, condiments, etc. for most. The only site that officially has power will be Nate's but I am sure he will share if anyone needs it.
I do suggest enough clothes for rainy, hot, or chilly weather for the weekend. Other than that, I think most of it has been pretty covered.

Josh, you are good, if you want to pay early, you can, otherwise bring the cash that Friday!

Remember it is $63 per site other than Nate's, which is more, and it will be a cash collection on Sat. for pontoon depending on people going. Also, if Jay (or someone gets a keg) we pitch in cash on that as well.

Any other questions or concerns, just let me know.

Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a couple of those mini propane tanks as well.

So... the keg situation never really got resolved. I think we have like 2 votes for "I'll drink whatever", 2 votes for "only if it's honey weiss", and a vote for "only if it's honey weiss or ....." Did I miss anyone? I guess all I know is if we're getting honey weiss, we should plan on getting the keg down here, which pretty much means Nate, Picklz, or AJ need to take care of the keg. But then, Nate is not a fan of teh honey weiss as I recall.

Idea... BYOB and we make a community fridge, I'll bring a bucket/bin. You take items of your own to toss into community bin, and then get to take others as you see fit. This allows some mixing, with a solid personal choice. From Boones Farm to Red Dog (almost spelled dong), it could be epic...?

that's great till someone brings nordeast and it all get's drank right away, I'd still prefer a keg but if not I have 3 cases of beer I can load into the truck lol.

I think we just need to stop thinking about it so much. Kegs are cheap enough and there are enough people who want in. Keg if you want if not bring whatever the hell you want.

KEG needs to happen.

Thanks for bringing some clarity to this thread, Nate. So if someone wants to bring a keg of Honey Weiss, post up and make it happen. Otherwise, once we get there, I'll lead the charge into a local booze-mart for the finest brew the locals have to offer. DONE.

Woooooo Camping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS FRIDAY PEOPLE! WOOT

Also Josh - I have a full 20lb propane tank I'm bringing along, so if you have the regulator/adapter for that bring it along and we shall be able to do mass quantities of grilling. Wouldn't hurt to have a small tank or two with also should we want to grill and use the deep fryer at the same time.

What fun stuff will people be bringing to this little shindig?

I plan to spend 90% of the time drinking. But I will need some games to play too.
