Thanks for the good time, everyone! I enjoyed the boating a lot, but next time I'll have to get a fishing license instead of just being on bobber watch for Matt.

AJ and Jana, something to keep in mind is that no matter where you go in a tent there are going to be noises from wildlife. While camping I've had to deal with everything from the usual frogs and birds to bugs swarming the tent (because it's warm at night) and causing a constant buzzing. The weather can change in an instant as well, both times I've went camping with this group it's rained overnight. It's just something you have to deal with when living outdoors for a couple days, and in my opinion it's worth it for being able to get away from everything else. Next time I'm going to turn my phone off and leave it in the car until I'm ready to leave.

Yeah, it's weird cause I thought I could handle it, but just could not get in sleep mode. Maybe next time, lol. Regardless, had a blast, & my feet are feeling ok now with the 2nd day of no sun, so that's a +!

I am a very light sleeper, but I love sleeping outside. Constant sounds or light don't affect me, but things that change suddenly like lightning/thunder, a car or someone walking by, someone talking or zipping their tent, etc. will wake me up. Doesn't bother me though, I fall back to sleep pretty fast.

Sometimes I have a harder time getting to sleep the first night but after that it's generally not an issue. I was really tired for whatever reason on Friday night so I was out pretty quick even w/ those goddamn frogs.

If I suggested that you simply didn't drink enough beer to drown out the sound of the frogs, would that be inappropriate?

Keg left, I'm fairly sure that was tapped before Dizzle and Josh even got there. lol

Probably didn't help that I got a bit drunk quickly, then sobered up before bed. lol

Yeah, next time we should get our keg from someplace down in the cities that doesn't give you a shitty-ass tapper. Also, then you don't run into the problem of how to return the keg on sunday... unless we go camping in sconny. Or, next time we could leave on saturday morning and head back on a monday. If I have to deal with traffic, I'd actually prefer it on the way out when I'm all excited and ready to go than on the way back when I'm bushed and just trying to get home. lol

Traffic, what traffic? :D Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea.

I didn't feel like getting trashed to the point of passing out. I wanted to feel decent the next day. However, since I didn't sleep anyway...it wouldn't have been a bad idea. lol
