    Shed Build

Well I started a shed this past weekend and wanted to post up some of my progress. Here is the site I picked. It is in the back corner of my lot by both of my neighbors sheds. I went with a treated frame for the floor on concrete blocks berried just below grade. I used...

Well holy carp. The guy that owns the site with a project car!

MX-6s are known to have leaky trunks. My mx-6 was damp in the spare tire area all the time. I punched hole there too.

A second Tint Day hosted in Bag - July 9th

Those are all questions no one can answer. I have had 20 % on my Denali for three years with no issue I had 30% on my speed6 an got two tickets and a court summons unless i proved the tint was removed. So percentages are totally up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

Jay's MSP (aka Project Not-A-Subaru, aka Project Slotege, aka IDK...)

Jay the engineer side of you should have looked at that as they over did it by 50%. That seems a bit excessive to me. Also if they missed your request by that much that could be enough to warrant at the very least an explanation from them. Also who are you measuring this clearance? I have...

Anyone here with experience finishing aluminum?

I have refinished a lot of aluminum bits in the past. Nothing with a lot of detail (little spots that are hard to get to) but i have none the less done it. Power tools are your friend with this kind of thing. Drills with a bit a scotch brite work wounder's over stuff in minutes vs hours by hand.

What Engine Oil Do You Use?

PP Euro spec almost deserves a cock punch JT. The most important thing about oil is changing it. other then that the fight about what oil is better will go down in forum history as no one will ever know.

What Engine Oil Do You Use?

I would stick with the mazda filter unless you want to swap out the cartridge filter for a spin on (that will take a new conversion kit). Then you can get a little larger filter so you can fit 6 qrts no problem.

    Flexible/Adjustable radiator hoses

I have had XP with the braided ones when detailing a car. Looks ok but was discolored in spots. Not sure if that is from the brand or just what happens. I think black rubber still looks better then all of those. Just get nice clamps and couplings.
