A Re-Introduction

Hello Again,

I'll start off with this thread for anyone trying to remember me. Well I just sold that car and bought a 2007 Mazdaspeed 6 GT in Black Mica, I've had it now for just over 2 weeks and LOVING it! I don't know if this was a car previously owned by anyone here but it is immaculate! It had 216XX on it when I found it at Polar Mazda in White Bear Lake, no scratches, flawless interior as well.

I'm sorry I really haven't joined in on any of these events, but living in Mankato and working 50 hours a week limits my ability to make these awesome sounding events. Though hopefully I'll be moving back to the Cities this summer allowing me to join in. I'll try and get back into the forum too as now I have a revitalized interest in my car again!

Aren't you the guy who used to have the Maroonish Protege? Any plans to Autox the MS6?

Also, welcome back!

I'M OFFENDED!
I should go get another one...seems like the thing to do.

Welcome (back) to the forum.
They're getting affordable on the used market, I think that's why we're seeing them a lot more.... shouldn't be long before the ms3's do the same thing.

Thanks All for the re-greet!

Yes I did have the maroon Protege.

My experience at Polar was great one, considering I practically impulse purchased the car when I found it. They were very cooperative in the fact I live 2 hours away and very understanding in the requests I made for that fact.

My plans for modifying the car are very limited, I would like to keep the car mostly stock to keep the daily driver comfort. Ideally once I get a good portion of my auto loan paid off I want to buy a project track car. Learned the hard way that you can't comfortably live with both an autox/DD 24/7; after 6 years it becomes the WORST part of the day. But for starters I want to get the Neo Car Audio ipod hook up (any one have one of these installed), source a set of OEM 17" Mazda wheels for a winter setup, and tint for now. Just purchased some new BFG G-force Sports on it since it had some garbage Kumho ASX's on it.

As for auto-xing I probably won't be able to make any events this summer, I need to readjust my budget and I really want to get some of the before mentioned projects done first. Though next summer I definitely want to get back into it since I now have a car reliable for it again, and I might possibly be looking into doing a 17" competition wheel/tire package.
