The design of a top mount IC kinda kills it for the front, And the rears, there's really not a lof of access to do one as the entire rear suspension is external (not popping into the cabin area or trunk area). Truthfully, there's NOT a whole lot of gain to be had up top in something like that...
One other thing I can say from experience in rattle stuff- warm the cans up. Seriously. Get you a bucket of hot water, soak the cans in it for a good 10min or so. Make sure they're warm to the touch. It'll help the paint atomize and spray evenly- or in this case the dip.

Honestly, with an ms3 i'd go with fuel pressure before i'd do oil. Most common failure causing these cars to go kablooey is the CDFP up top- you want something to warn you if pressure suddenly goes to 0 so you can shut her down.
