Yeah, it was a great time. The weather was just about perfect. If it was dry it would have been 100%, but since it was only wet MOST of the time, I'd give it 90%. I really had a great time.

My cyclone was chopping paint like crazy when I had the egrip set to 3 round burst though. Once I started just firing semi auto I had a lot better success. I also went through the original battery and one extra one during the day, so that sucked.

I ended up fighting until the end, the Canadians were closing in on the Canyon flag from both sides and me and 2 others managed to hold them off. I was pretty exhausted at the end, but winning that vest (even though I already have 2) was just icing on the cake.

Thanks for the invite and definitely let me know if you guys go out again.

i think i figured it out what you might need to get to prevent chopping i dont think the cyclone was able to keep up you might need this http://www.tippmannparts.com/TECHT-Paintball-Cyclone-Upgrade-Black-98-A5-X7-p/5126.htm whats happening is its not venting fast enuff so its not able to keep up so when the first ball gets out the second one is half way well the gun is all ready cocked giggidy and ready to fire and prity much blows up in the cyclone and barrel. also i found out that white piece in the ratchet is all stock parts i really recommend since it sounds like your liking the sport to upgrade that ASAP. also picklz i never got to see your cyclone but i also recommend you doing that if you feel like it here is the full upgrade system http://www.tippmannparts.com/TECHT-Paintball-Cyclone-Feed-Upgrade-Max-Black-p/5141.htm if you guys purchased the TechT stuff i will gladly help you install it if you dont feel comfortable!

No it doesn't... I'll have to look into that, it certainly seems possible. Looks at videos of the squish paddles and stuff trying to figure it out, I *THINK* my paddles might not be installed correctly, but I have to double check on that. I'm even thinking about getting rid of the e-grip and just going to a response trigger instead.

I'm going to be parting out some of the dye molle bits I don't need and probably looking for an apex2 as my next upgrade though. I'd rather be more accurate than throwing out more paint. I'd like to keep the shorter profile of the stock barrel, so I'm currently considering a Lapco Bigshot 8" apex ready barrel with an apex2 tip.

I have to look through it all again, but IIRC, the vest I won came with 4 "accessories". Locking 2pod, Insulated 2pod, Insulated grenade pouch and a 12gram holder. The only one of those I really need is the 2 pod... and I dont really like the style it is, so I'd be willing to part with that even. I'll be looking for a couple 2pod holders a tank holder and probably some other accessory/pocket/pouch type one with a zipper on it.

I didn't have any issues with my gun at all, didn't chop or break a single ball and I was firing in 3 round burst mode fairly quickly during some engagements. Unless I run into an issue I don't really plan to upgrade or change much with the gun itself for the time being. Right now I need to figure out a better vest setup as my Broadsword just doesn't fit me well enough and then get my TPX pistol sorted out.

So, I tore it apart to clean it out today... zomg the paint. I'll get a pic up later.

In other news, the squishy paddles do seem to have been installed properly. It was using the "stock style" top paddle, not the double stack style paddle. Just from the looks, I could see the stock-style paddle chopping balls more often than the double stack, but I dunno. I swapped out to the double stack and put the rest of my paint (maybe 25 balls) through it and didn't chop one... so I guess I'll try that paddle out next time. I know the hotter weather probably helped with that, but hey.

Dan-yep thats what good old chop dose!!! i thought you had the double stack paddle on but yes that is the right way to go it will help keep "a stack" of balls ready to shoot so it can keep up with the ROF if your gona get rid of the WAS board let me know i might want it the only thing is with my grip frame i dont know it it will be able to fit due this style of A5 is designed different and if it dose fit in mine ill just have to drill a couple of holes and im good to go! oo and with the new low profile hoppers the double stack paddles rub against on the lip of the ring of the hopper TechT says to snip off a little piece ill post up the video where he says it , its towards the end of the video and this will also help educate on how to take apart the cyclone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3C1ILYvFrU&feature=player_embedded

again as i said for picklz go to rockstar tac http://www.rockstartactical.com/Paintball_Guns_s/3.htm and than if you want a review on the gear your looking at to buy go here http://www.pbreview.com/

Hey Kyle, What was the Brand and/or Model of that LAW you said was allowed at most paintball fields/events? I did some digging and all I found was like a $500 RPG by RAP4 and then a bunch of home-made stuff.

Were going to go back to MNpro on the 27th for the players that reffed so they get some play time feel free to join us. we will be there around Sundays: 12pm - 6pm

FYI Red Cat Tactical seems to have bought a huge lot of Diamond Back Tactical gear, DBT is a maker of tactical gear based in the US, most of what they have for sale is discontinued items that are older models, but brand new. I picked up a Predator RBV (Rapid Ballistic Vest), it's pretty much a cross between a plate carrier and your standard assault vest. Made for actual Law Enforcement or Military use w/ pockets for armor etc (doesn't come with any).

I just got it today and I'm pretty impressed, very adjustable and pretty damn comfortable, I think it's going to work out awesome for paintball, they are on sale at the moment for $50. I got a small and it fits me great with enough room to adjust larger if I keep drinking beer lol. The armor pockets provide a little extra padding which is nice.

I bought this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/DBT-Armor-C...&otn=5&po=LVI&ps=63&clkid=8627929708151498273

All of redcat's stuff including Vests is here:

For the money at the sale price I think they are going to be hard to beat if you need a molle vest, made in the USA no less. One thing to note these don't have pockets built in for hydration bladders like some of the paintball specific vests, you 'might' be able to modify one of the armor pockets to hold a small bladder but I think you'd be better served by getting a molle hydration carrier like so: http://www.aftactical.com/modular-hydration-carrier.html

the nice thing is it have that elastic belt on the inside which will keep it nice and tight giggidy. as of right now for plans for paintball and outings for me is slim to none (re injured my ankle) also NO fing pictures of you guys -_-... to make up for there screw up let me know when you guys are gona go out and if you can pick me up (why im saying pick me up is it would be better if it was just us 3 guys that go so i dont have to deal with the team at the time) and id be willing to do a paintball photo shoot for you guys if you want. iv got a nice 14MP camera that i just got and im itching to use it.

Picklz and I were at the Wounded Warriors game out at Splat Ball on Sunday. It was a little bit warm, but I still had a great time. I managed to drop an entire pod in the chrono area before we even started, so that sucked... but yeah.

One of the photographers got a couple shots of me apparently:

Kinda cool to see what I actually look like in all my gear, lol.

We played two "warmup games" at the start since there weren't that many people around at the start then played 3 or four bigger scenario games and finally ended up playing 4 big rounds at their urban assault course. Small urban-style course with 20 players per side = crazy action. The last of the 4 games I ended up 1v1 against on of the guys in the orange jersey and I ended up chasing him around for a few minutes before he finally caught me in the shoulder, intense.

dye vest and a ninja HPA tank remind me to give you my tickets for the raffle. are you still interested going on the 10th sounds like junior is going. and yes i heard that there wernt a lot of people out there which is not good :(
