During the raffle they said they had 53 players show up... so yeah. I don't know if it was planned as such, but we only played on 3-4 fields at once so the lack of players didn't seem like a huge issue to me. Some times it was hard to find people, other times not so much.

I'm not totally sure on the 10th, can you post up some details about what's going on that day? I know you said a Valken rep will be there, but is it just a normal walk-on day otherwise? Same standard prices, any prizes, etc?

I'm thinking I might take this weekend off, but I'm not sure quite yet what I want to do.

Yeah, I'm either going to take the weekend off or play @ Adventure Zone since we have passes there, haven't decided 100% yet but I'm leaning towards taking it off. I need to start playing with my TPX only so I can get by on like a pod of paint per day lol

i will not be going to MNpro on the 10th I really messed up my knee today trying to bunker some one (hit a divot and knee gave out and landed on it at a weird angle)

Update!

Haven't played since Wounded Warriors, but I've got some pretty sweet gear upgrades since.

First up... the A5! After C4C I decided I didn't really like the stock and long barrel, they really make the gun huge and rather hard to wield for my run-n-gun style. So I removed the stock and now have a "Shorty Apex2" courtesy of ManWithAGun over at A5OG. I also upgraded to an X7 hopper for a little lower profile. Haven't played with either yet, but I'm excited to try them out... Also notice the sling clip on the endcap. Homemade 1pt sling with 1" nylon webbing and a couple clips and slides (I was using it just as a loop around my shoulder at Wounded Warriors, but I have now converted it to attach to my vest, which you will see in a bit.)

Oh, also. I fried my eGrip board. I got the previously mentioned battery harness all prepped and it was working great, until I went full auto for about 30 seconds and the board started smoking, lol. I'm about 99% sure the battery didn't cause this, but the full auto for so long did. I contacted WAS and then Tippmann (as WAS sold it to them) and Tippmann ended up sending me an HE eGrip to replace my older style one for only $50. (I sent in the old eGrip and the new one was a "warranty upgrade")

I don't have the new eGrip installed yet as I'm not totally sure if I want to use the eGrip or just sell it and upgrade to a double trigger and go semi auto. The FangT trigger Kyle recommended previously looks amazing.



Next, the vest upgrade!

I bought the same vest as Picklz, same eBay auction. Then I bought a handful of Valken V-tac molle attachments for it. Currently have a pair of 2+3 pod holders on the lower back, a horizontal tank holder in the middle back, and an admin/ID pouch on the lower left front. The ID pouch was going to be my battery pouch for the remote battery idea, but since that's currently up in the air, I've moved it to the front for now. You can also see the sling attached to the shoulder straps of the vest. It's got a fair amount of adjustability at each side so I can adjust how high the gun hangs too.




As an aside... Walmart carries some webbing accessories in the camping section. Selection seems to vary slightly by store, but at the EP store I found a "kit" with 6' webbing, 1 clip and 1 slide for about $2, and then you can get a pack of 2 clips and 2 slides for like $0.58. That's enough to make yourself a decent 1pt traditional sling, or something like I've got that attaches to the vest.

lookin good dawg im actually looking into right now getting a space gun. DP G4 with invert too hopper or a GOG G1 or a proto PMR or a GOG extcy dont know yet but will keep a update on my situation. also i will be reffing at the robin hood big game at MN pro on the 15th of july.

DO IT!!! its really fun with the new gear that has been coming out in the past couple years is it really makes it fun more less complaining and good memories with friends!

Its amazing fun, just got from d-day special forces in buffalo. That was crazy fun with tanks and beach landings. Also in bunkers and tanks you can us full auto, which sucks took 15 rounds to the chect by a tank lol. All blk and purple now

so i just got all my new gear with all the research that i did im very very happy i will some time when i get the chance to do a video review on the gear (first time doing a review on a product kinda nervous) i will get on it. the new gear i got was the pod pack the planet eclipse pants and the gear bag.

as for now heres the eye candy.

look at all the extra room just means i need more gear :p

so the RKPT has been growing over winter we have gained about 12 more members so were up to 23 or 25 members now, so were starting to be almost a army now heheheheh, but we are now sponsored by Splat tag out in Hudson Wisconsin we are gona be out there for both the GBG (estimating over 300-400 people at the game) this is a dont miss event THIS IS A LIFE REMEMBERING EVENT!!!!! we will also be reffing some of the jungle rumbles that happen at end of every months, prity much its a game that is a push and pull type game on about 3 of the fields combined. I hope to see you guys out there on the field.
