MNMazda spring cruise - 2012 edition!!

I'm a total noob to this forum and have never posted but I am interested in joining the spring ride along this Saturday. I can pay on the day - I do have a PayPal acct if you would like me to pay ahead of time. Just let me know the details. Is it possible to get the information regarding the ride, where to meet, what time, route, etcc...ahead of time? Is there an opportunity to open the cars up a little bit on the run? Get them up over 100mph? Or is this just a drive to have fun and show off the cars? I have a 2006 Blackcherry Mica Speed6. Can't wait for the information and the ride. Thanks

This is a back-roads cruise....on public roads. I'm not going to say that no traffic laws have ever been broke doing this, but 100mph on public roads is generally pretty dumb. This is meant to be a fun cruise to enjoy our cars, well within their (and their drivers) limits.

That said anyone is welcome as long as they are willing to follow the above and generally not be a total tool. Paypal is best (there is a donate link at the top of the main forum page), however it sounds like Hayden will be accepting payment on the day of, I assume he will PM people the exact meeting location and time on Friday. The exact meeting spot and route is not posted much ahead of time for a few reasons. Generally we meet around 8am in the SE metro - give or take an hour and take a 2-3 hour cruise through Wisconsin and MN, have lunch, then cruise for a couple more hours.

If you really want to push your car sign up for MAP's proving grounds @ BIR and run it on the road course, you'll have no problems hitting 100+ there.

Count me in. Wish I could be your passenger picklz, but I'll have my son so we will be in my car. I'll pay Hayden when we get there Sat morning. Will be an awesome day for Oliver, he will love seeing these cars then the Anoka car show later in the day. Just wish my car were fixes up right now.

100mile gravel road bike race. Should be a long day in the saddle, but it should be fun... a twisted sort of fun.
