Here's what I know/think.

Andy=no read- he's been absent.

Nate=lying at outset, and then trying to get out of the lie the long way instead of the obvious answer. I don't know if he just wasn't paying attention or what, but that was an amusing little side track. Possible scum.

AJ- Did what looked to me like fishing for roles, right out of the gate. Granted I doubt that tactic would have worked here, but he appears to have tried to change the subject and deflect as soon as more than just me was paying attention to it.

Swanny- no real read, not a whole lot said so far.

JT- playing pretty straight, nothing to make me go HMMMMM so far.

Picklz- again, not a whole lot to work with.

Dan- A lot said, a lot asked. Questions seem to be pretty straightforward, not real scummy.

Ben- HERE's a fun one. The quote he used was from Hot Fuzz. I don't know if he was just being a smartass or what, but it makes you think. In that movie, there was town, and there was "town". "Town" ended up being the scum, killing off all the real town, for as they put it, "the greater good". Couple that with the fact that he was arguing with you over math, and my favorite part where we're all "trying too hard" makes me think scum.

Right now the two on my plate are AJ and Ben.

I didn't deflect anything, you guys where right, it was a dumb idea. In my view I'm looking at those who have no reason to become involved so far, and haven't. If scum if sitting back and seeing town already rip at eachother for what I think are some very dumb opening items then they are set, they win day one. From there, they have the advantage of doing whatever they want with their kill to draw suspision to someone other than themselves. I don't see Dan as scum, he's putting far to much for detail and reasoning behind his posting this early in the game, and in my view, someone who's scum simply doesn't need (or want) to put that much of themselves out there. Maybe it's the wrong way to think, but if I was Dan and scum with that's come out, I wouldn't of gone after someone that hard if I wasn't a townie... He's fishing for someone to say the wrong thing, and it's working.

Nate to me is just a misunderstanding, I don't see that initial item being part of the game in any way.

My scum list right now read Swanny, Picklz, Tom, and JT. No particual order, but it's what I have thus far. I'm not sure it will matter much more than now anyway as I easily see myself getting lynched by the masses for day one. If it happens, so be it, hopefully you'll get some kind of reaction out of scum on day two when it's done. Something we obviusly got last game when combined with a the night kill that set up another member.

AJ, instead of explaining to me why you think the people you listed are scum, elaborate on why you think Nate, Andy and Ben are town. You already described your thoughts on Dan, I got that. However, Josh has come up with about 4 sentences so far of nothing much to sway me one way or the other. Andy hasn't even posted in this thread yet, and Ben's getting questioned pretty hard by Tom and Dan without much effort in rebuttals. That categorization doesn't add up one bit to me...

And why do you think you're suddenly the main target? There's been like 48 hours of posting. All we're doing is gathering discussion/evidence and apparently you're at the top of the shit list? I dunno, I don't see it. You sure do get pretty defensive though.

Andy has twice (at least) been labeled Town, and hasn't posted a single item yet? WTF? I even voted for him to see if I could draw a comment and nothing. I'm not really sure what to think about that at this point.

Ben is asking us not to nit-pick posts and trying to make this a game about movie quotes - that's some shit right there. Nitpicking is exactly what we have to do, the more we question people and analyze what is posted, the more responses and theories we get out there. The more posts the more likely we are to either label someone scum, or to label someone as likely town.

AJ actually appears to be playing similar to the way he did in the first game...to me anyway.

To classify someone as Town there should be clear actions (or inaction) that can be quoted or otherwise pointed out, otherwise I don't see how you can or should label them as anything but 'unknown'

Sorry guise.... work has been unreal the past few days. I'm actually still working now at 7:30pm Friday night.
I'll be more active this weekend/week fo sure.

Some initial reactions... I didn't get to read everything.

Immediate votes from a lot of people. Wow... that is different than previous game.
I need to go back and review if there were any "bandwagon" votes

rofl@AJ. Thank you sir for actually acknowledging that I am town this time...... but I haven't even posted any thing. This is strange because last game AJ was all over me and now he is supporting me D1.

Labeling someone without even having a single post to form an opinion about them....... is manipulative and scummy.

I'm not avoiding anything, I'm simply not going to answer anything else till others become more active. Otherwise I'm just on the defensive over and over which is gonna lead to nothing more than people reading into shit that's not relevant.

I don't understand why you are deliberately being scummy, AJ. Do you not realize that refusing to answer simple questions makes you look really bad? At this point, pretty much nothing you say could make you look worse than your past few posts have.
