OK, I'm at the end of Day 1. Thoughts so far? This is exactly the reason why, in game 2, I pushed for a consensus to be made with about 24 hours left on the clock before nightfall. People are not on all the time, especially on this forum which is evident by activity levels, or lack thereof, of some players. Trying to come to a concensus with only a few hours left can easily lead to a no lynch if you cannot get the few people online and active in the game to agree. Going forward, I suggest we try to come to a concensus around the same time as that 24 hr countdown starts. While we don't have to hammer the vote then, we should mostly be agreed that X person is going to be our lynch candidate unless more info arises that changes our minds.
Reeeeeeeeally. That seems to be that Nate.... is one vote from a hammer. And me NOT believing Nate is a scum, I shall not vote for him. Someone else is gonna have to hammer this dude, It isn't gonna be me.
Tom, what has Nate said that would lead you to believe without a doubt that he is not scum? This inaction likely caused the no-lynch that occured which we have agreed is bad for town.
Nate I think I'm leaning towards Scum more than anyone with his statement that he's made his vote, isn't switching, and won't be responsible for anything that happens, so I am leaving my vote with him for Day 1 unless someone can make an excellent argument otherwise.
I have to agree with this viewpoint so far. Nate's votes have seemed very half hearted with little reasoning behind them. Saying he's made his vote and isn't switching and is not responsible is also a very easy cop-out. If you are truly town you have to be flexible and willing to work with the team to try to find scum. You can't just sit back and say, "This is my vote, take it or leave it. It's up to the rest of you to follow me lead or live with your actions, it's out of my hands now". We are all in this together, at least those of us who are town, and we have to work together or we will get nowhere, like the no-lynch we had. You can't get a hit if you don't even swing the bat.
