Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Not necessarily, you can get a decent gaming rig pretty cheap these days. You don't need to have the BEST to run games and have them look good.
is $215 for a halo3 edition 360 with 20GB HD a fair/good price?
Not really. Xbox's just dumped in price - Pro's can be had new for $250 now and they have a 60gb HDD. The halo 3 edition nets you nothing but graphics on it. Put stickers on the pro if you want, but it's a better deal new.

I want to see more games letting PC people play together with 360, like Shadowrun. KB + mouse is just so much better as an input device for 90% of games.

90% is an exaggeration.... I'd say more like half. 3rd person, platforming, racing, etc games are not very well suited to KB/mouse. RTS, FPS, and the like, definitely.

Overall, and this is just my 2 pennies, XBL offers a better ecosystem from game to game. You have a unified friends list and a constant identity (no multiple username and passwords). As far as game play that's totally subjective, both have pro's and con's. I played a lot of Shadowrun and from what I could tell PC weren't any better than controllers.
