Thanks guys. I don't get why there is so much conflicting answers depending on who you ask. The different forums are filled with the same stance as well. I suppose its just like anything else - everyone has an opinion, but I asked three different dealers and they all had different answers...
Looking for info/guidance on a tranny flush vs a drain. My ’10 hatch (2.5 automatic, 35k miles) is due and I hear conflicting info regarding this => "don’t do it or wait until “xxx miles” or only perform a drain or else (slippage)..... The dealer said they only perform a tranny drain and fill...
Is there a rule of thumb for alignments per se? I had mine aligned at Stellar when they installed my Eibachs springs last spring. I mean there isn't anything obvious that I can tell (steering doesn't pull etc..)
FWIW - Install is complete. Amazing difference to say the least. Can't even remember what the stock "sound" was like anymore :) Even though this is my first real exposure to car audio and being really, really into SQ, this is pretty addicting stuff :) I'm putting together a computer RTA with...
Was speaking with a gentelman at the dealer the other day and got on the subject of some of Mazda's new offereings. He mentioned a completely new Speed6 is coming in the next yr or two? Can't seem to find much on regarding it though. He said it was a done deal and they are being made. Now I...
Is that a 458 Itallia? Whoa. Geeez. I think that's my new favorite of all time. Pretty bold statement but, seriously that car has everything executed perfectly. The engineering alone is mind boggling (clutch) basically a F1 street car. Very cool.
Although my hatch would have dominated...
As far as tuning from the amp, Yeah that's what I thought/think - but just thought if a change is needed at the xover, having to open up the door panel...well that would be a pain. This is new to me so I wasn't sure if it would be better to mount the xover in the back with the amp or elsewhere...
Yes, you were the one I spoke with, thanks. :)
Couple things I forget to ask...
- Thoughts on applying Dynamat or equiv? Either the full door or just the spkr kit.

Are there any downsides?

Yeah that's what I was thinking and just getting a 4chnl and removing them from the signal chain. But the $ between 4+5chnl isn't much from what I can tell.
I'm also considering this Alpine

I like the idea of the quick...
No, I guess my thinking is the rears add some "ambiance", but the meat is coming from a good set of front comps. So I'm not too concerned with the rears. Using a 5chnl vs a 4chnl (removing out the rears) amp, gives me the ability to dial in the rears via the gain on its channel => turn them...
Alrighty then - I've dragged my feet on this one, but now I have to get something in before f'ing snow flies - four paychecks til snow:mad:
Anyhoo, I've got a shopping list and wanted to get some feedback before I make the plunge. So here it goes
I'm keeping the stock HU with stock spkr...
ROFLMAO. Good one. I'm young at heart so I'll re-phrase it to say "Middle aged dudes that don't show up very often and usually wash their cars before they do"
Also you can add to the brochure: "BAG rules dictate you must apply this to your vehicle prior to performing any mods" :)
