I know either way Jana and I are going. Apparently it's just a fun little town to visit and stay in so I want to give some people some time to review the date posted, talk over the 1 or 2 day option, and hopefully we'll make a group outing of it!

Yeah, it's not ideal but due to the hours those places have and the amount of driving, I'm just trying to think about what is best. Maybe if we just leave early on Sat it will be just fine.

it would be 10+ hours of driving in one day if not an overnighter... If anyone is interested in a two day, two overnight event, we could break up the driving and add a town. Drive Friday all the way through to WI and do as planned on day one. Sat afternoon we head into my hometown in IA...

I ended up following the Picklz lead and ordered up a Primary Arms 30mm Red Dot, magnifier, and swing out mount as well. Price wise, I couldn't make a good argument not to do it that way.
