Damn, I kinda wanted to see what all happened, since I was at the front of it all. Sandwiched between two speed 6's. lol.

I assume this is how it went for most of us, but here's a recap anyway: I was the last one to go in, blue miata and motorcycle guy hung back and let the dust clear first. From my perspective, i came around the corner and saw a WALL of dust as wide as the road and 20ft high, heard the tires screech. I figured ok, this could be bad but i'll be able to avoid anyone in there, you can still see through dust, right? - WRONG! Cory went in, i lost sight of him instantly. I went in, i could not see the hood of my car, let alone anyone else or any part of the ground. That was the shortest visibility i've ever witnessed not counting underwater. All i could do was hit my brakes and try to get maximum deceleration while keeping straight purely by feel, just waiting to slam into a pile of cars. I ended up in the grass on the far left side of the road, and was surprised to see no one near me at all. So who was it who actually locked up the tires and squeaked?

No clue...being at the front of the line, we all heard it, but couldn't see who it was...visibility looking back was no better.

Couple things here and I'm gonna be very direct.

#1 - if you admit to a a cloud of dust and you couldn't see and you still went it - poor judgement, no fault but your own.
#2 - I was the blue miata with the bike, didn't take long for dust to settle and us drive over the gravel as we had the prior 10 we passed over, slowly with perfect visibility
#3 - when the dust settled every car was lined up on the road waiting for us.
#4 - no driver can blame anyone but themselves for their decisions made during that part. Road conditions drove the need to hang back, the lead car had no one in front of them to worry about, everyone else did.
#5 - half of the drivers went on the gravel patches and tried to rip it a bit, accelerate, and that was fucking stupid. I know, I've been there, it was fucking stupid.

it was a regular road under a bit of construction, these where patches dug up for culverts.

AJ is right, I was the fourth to go in (Blackcherry Speed6)and instantly regretted it as I was following the Subaru and lost him instantly and the last thing I remember seeing was him hitting his brakes. I couldn't even see my front end let alone the car in front of me but I had a sense so I hit my brakes but a little harder than I meant too and slid a little sideways; it was a Protege that was behind me that hit his brakes hard locking them up and squealing but he also didn't hit me. That patch was worse than the others as far as throwing up a wall of dust and not being able to see what was happening.
