I don't know what to buy! Help! Keep in mind this will be my daily driver. But I also think the MS6 is too boring as my DD.

330 WHP '04 Stillen 350z (under $24k):
http://blog.stillen.com/2009/01/stillen-350z-for-sale/

This car is done. I can buy it and drive it. No mods needed, not even wheels. This is kind of what I'm looking for since I'm not a big mod guy myself. Stock internals are supposed to be good for 400 WHP, and tranny, about 350. But I'm still worried about the tranny. Some 03's and 04's had tranny problems, and adding 100HP probably won't help in that case.

'07 350z with low miles (under $20k):

I'll get a stock one. I wouldn't be modding it much so I'd get the reliability and warranty, but not nearly as much power or handling. I actually like the body kit on the Stillen, so that's another negative. All told, this would be the practical solution. It's cheap, reliable as hell and still has decent performance.

'10 Hyundai Genesis Coupe (only if I can get one under $25k):

This is the most expensive option which makes it lose some practicality points. But it's got the most luxury. Proximity key, bluetooth, leather heated seats, heated mirrors, moon roof, back seats, etc. However it's the worst in performance, being just slightly under the '07 350Z. This would probably be the longest lasting car.

'99-'05 turbo'd miata (under $10K):

I don't like to mod much and i'm certainly not adding a turbo so I'd have to buy one that's already had it done. Then again, I have no idea of the quality of the job, so that's risky right there. This is the least practical car out of all my choices but has the potential to be a lot of fun. Another downfall is that I would need a winter car if I went this route.

110 HP of FURY!
Miata. Cost is low, fun is high. Leaves you with money for tires, hookers, and blow. Keep the MS6 for winter duty.

My vote would have been for the turbo Miata if this wasn't a DD so I went with the coupe. A turbo’d rwd soft-top convertible just doesn't make sense up here in the winter, plus what if you needed to transport something more then just 2 grocery bags, an ounce of blow and a hooker, like 2 grocery bags, an ounce of blow and 2 hookers?

My first choice would have been the Genesis Coupe, but as you said that would be the most expensive. So my vote went to the stock 07 350Z. It would be a lot more comfortable than a turbo Miata IMO. And since it is new you wouldn't have to worry about anything going wrong with it.

Miata just cuz then you don't look so small getting out of your car.

Anyways. You could get a Mazdaspeed Miata with a hardtop. Those look pimp. Already boosted so you can mod to get a little more hp.

Used 350z would be okay, but I'd personally rather have the Genesis Coupe. That thing is sexy with some rims. Plus you get sweet warranty.

I voted for the Stillen if you can budget in a small amount per month to set aside for possible required upgrades/repairs if you break something. In my mind it'd be the most fun of all of the vehicles listed, you don't have to outlay any money or time after the fact, and you know it was built by a reputable tuner.

I voted Hyundai. While I like the 350z options I think its always fun to get into a new platform that is not completely overdone and explored to death.

I'M OFFENDED!
I went Miata simply because it is the most cost effective option in my book. The Stillen 350z would have been my 2nd choice, but I'm a fan of stealth, and that car is not a sleeper by any stretch. I think the Miata has the most potential out of any of the cars up there, with 20 years of drivetrain/suspension tech that the rest of the group simply cannot match.

I voted for the '07 Z simply because I think E is already a guido, so he might as well have a car to match :KANE: :D
