Is is the fact that you didn't need more of a fun factor when not driving the vette and when the weather is bad you can work from home? I suppose with it being new, nothing to fix, and the gas savings it's kind of a no brainer.

Nothing to fix, much better gas mileage, all the toys / creature comforts I could want, etc. AWD really is only 'needed' in the worst of conditions, 99% of the snow days we have in MN FWD is fine for around town driving. And yes, vette is the 'fun' car.
