I need some help for a topic on which I need to write a 10 page research paper. It has to be a topic that is a weird belief not based on research. It needs to be something that has a website or something because I need 5 to 6 first person references. I know you guys can come up with some good things that will be quite intresting and entertaining!

I would tackle religions... You could give a brief overview of the different religions. Maybe just stick with the three major monotheistic religions. You can then compare and contrast.

Politics... Why people believe in a certain party?

Or why people believe that outsourcing jobs is taking away from the US economy...those is some crazy people...

the easiest one would prob be the number 13, in Germany whenever they build some sort of high rise the go from 12 straight to 14, the don't include the 13, many people believe this, can you blame this on the twin towers b/c it had a 13th floor?, maybe, im a genius for creating this new conspiracy

How about a controversial topic that's been in the newspaper and on television over the past few years regarding the people protesting at soldiers' funerals because they truly believe we're being punished for allowing gays in our society? They're based out of a church in Kansas or Nebraska or something.
