Most sushi places will have cooked food also. We normally do Kyotos or Shanhai Bistro with Tom and Taya. Both have a good selection of other food.

That's alright, I'll hold out for a more relaxed BWW or Red Robin or similar another week. Hopefully I can make one before we get much for snow! :)

mmmmm....Osaka rocks! There's one in Roseville too, just North of the Rosedale mall, and they're less expensive than Benihana.

With the family, I don't get out too often. We took the family to Osaka last weekend though, and it was a great time. Kids LOVE watching the chefs do their thing and I like the saki...lol

Jana loves the saki as well! I've yet to try any of the other places like Benihana, I can't get past not having the shrimp sauce! YUM YUM!

Jess and I are all about the shrimp sauce too, but Osaka has done a great job of getting it dialed in. I definitely recommend you try it out anyway. Dinner for 2 for under $50 with a coupon at valpak.com (not counting drinks and 2.95 per person for fried rice [effing redonkulous, but it rocks]) is tough to beat, especially at Benihana.

with the weather this nice in november in minnesota, i feel like there's no reason why we wouldnt utilize porkys at least once more.
