Jeff (BFF, with a 2007 SC cobalt SS) and myself attended this at the Amery airport in WI last saturday.

1988 Audi Turbo - so this thing is some pos audi but hits the straight and see what happens! this isnt stock He had the highest speed of the day at 140mph

Ford GT - WOW one of my dream cars sounds sooo awesome and had the 2nd fastest time of the day at 136mph

Ford GT hit 136-137mph
1988 Turbo Audi hit 140mph
My Cobalt SS hit 107mph
P's Mazda Speed3 hit 106mph
Evo's were 104-111mph

Looks like it was a really fun time with some very cool cars. And that Audi just explodes down the backstretch....Awesome.

yeah that audi was freaking nuts. No one expected it then....it hits the air strip and everyone turned because we heard this massive turbo sound..then WHOOOOSH that sucker just took off. even beat the stop speed of that Ford GT. I told the Ford GT owner to get the twin turbo kit but he was a little hesitant saying he needed better traction :/.

What's up Cosmic, I think we met outside the restaraunt in Amery, I had the black mica. Speed run was a good time, that audi blew me away, reminds me of a Jetta I saw there last year that produced a similar head-turner reaction. Anyways you had some pretty good runs, I'm hoping to be out there running mine next year so we'll see what happens.
