Hey guys, one of your members hit me up and asked that I make sure you all new about the move for the monday night meets. So I promised to drop in and here I am.

I run the Monday night meet, everyone is welcome. Hope to see everyone finds us after the move.

New meet location, new thread. We're moving to the lot right across from Wagner's drive in starting next Monday 8-1-11.

This 1st meet will be a mega meet, we'll have some extra vendors and giveaways. NOS is bringing the big inflatables, NOS girls and the R/C drift track. So bring your r/c drift cars if you have em.

The new lot is much larger, only has one entrance so it's easier to control parking. Expect some changes in parking structure, you will be told where to park.

There will be member parking, VIP parking, show parking, and spectator/project car parking.

This 1st meet we will not be asking for $1 donations, but after this week we will be. We will ask for help with costs for lighting, I am looking into lighting as we speak it is something we will need in the next couple weeks as the sun goes down earlier every week. As well as soon we will be covering our own insurance costs.

Shouldn't be a big deal, it's a buck, if you have it great, if not no biggie. For now it's a donation, if donations don't cover costs it will become a $1 fee. Again no biggie, a buck is less then a soda costs.

See everyone there!

Is there any plan to try and build some form of order and common courtesy among those participating - normal car-show behavior such as not messing with / touching / leaning up against other cars - I heard some rather unpleasant things about that from some of those that showed up and really have no desire to bring out a nice car if I have to worry about that type of thing.

You'll get mixed reviews, as is with everything. I'm guessing you saw some talk over on mngmp. We have porche gt-3, and nissan skylines, my buddy brings his c6z, and others with shelby cobras, and so on and so on who have never had an issue. The guy who upset on mngmp is upset someone was leaning on his truck talking to a buddy, now there's no excuse for leaning on someone elses vehicle but I'm sure the guy was just thinking it wasn't a big deal cause it was someones work truck. I've never had a complaint from someone with a nice car saying people abused it.

I have never had any issue with that. And I've gone there without a hood lol
