MZ3...no turbo...

New here, after looking around I realized most people with the 3 have the speed version. Oh well I love my hatch, great gas milage and very reliable. You can find me in the east suburbs, I work in Mendota Heights off Pilot Knob Rd, by Brown College and I live in the Woodbury/Oakdale area

My car is filthy right now....currently under construction. I am somewhat of a bodywork master. I also have a 89 Mazda b2200 that is sitting around until the time is right for the wheels to start turning on that project. If you see a half velocity red, half primer hatch rolling around it is definitely me...but the primes is slowly taking over.

My modification taste with this specific car, will not focus as much on performance as it will on aesthetics.

I've been following your build thread over on M3F, this thing's gonna be crazy when you're done with it!

Looks awesome so far, glad to see you made it our direction. I'm kinda surprised I don't see that car more often, I live in that area as well (Well, IGH, but still)

Definitely something you don't see everyday, and it's looking very good. Great skills on the fab work, and welcome to the forum.

Why so much body work. Not the bumpers I get that getting rid of the holes and adding the lip but why the hood?

Looks great. You and I need to talk I have a Yukon Denali XL that need body work in a couple of places.

The hood had a bunch of rock chips that I didn't want to start rusting. I am doing the custom work along with cleaning up dents, chips, etc.

I like the m3f but, was also trying to find something local as well.

Post pics of your Mazda B. I used to own a dumped S10 and still keep up with the minitrucking scene as much as I can.

Hell yeah post pics of the B- start a project thread too if you're so inclined. It's a Mazda, it has a home here. Hell even if it's NOT a mazda, it's cool. We like stuff.

well god damn i hope to see you in the area some time i live in lake elmo only red speed3 i have seen in the area is me lol i must ask where did you find that tower gauge pod?

It isn't a gauge pod, they are speaker pods for the tweeters in the stereo that I am slowly building...I will post tons of pictures that I have when I start my build thread to get everyone up to speed.

Here are pictures of the B...I bought the truck knowing that it didn't run. I have not done anything to it until I can find a permanent home for it, I currently live in a townhouse and garage space is very limited. I once had a ranger that I blasted apart for a full resto...but the place that I was living with a bunch of friends the house got foreclosed on and we were forced to move....so sadly it became a victim of the shitty adjustable rate mortgages

Here is the old range....i miss her

Here is the B

and what I eventually plan on dropping in

Man those rangers are such a pain to work on compared to S10s. Good thing you didn't bodydrop it as I'm sure you know issues become exponentially worse (Z'ing the frame). Too bad it had to go, looks amazing!

Is that an '87-93 302 I see?

Glad to see another Mz3 around. You're right, there are a lot of Speed3s around here, but everyone is open to just about anything (just don't try to get Tom to show any love for a Honda...lol). Welcome to the crew!
