MNmazda Cruise to Stillwater Aug 25th

Damn it...the wife's family just rescheduled a birthday party that was supposed to happen on the 26th to the 25th...no cruise for me. :signs066:

Is there any chance that switching to the 26th would work for everyone? It's fine by me, and it sounds like that's what's killing most of the potential attendees

We could do it Aug 26th. But I would like to see FOR SURE responses from those that would attend. (Cuz probably and maybe usually mean no)

Or we can push it back to another weekend if there's a strong response to. I just tried to get a date started and get people to commit. Otherwise things just kind of stall and nothing happens.

But overall, I'd like to get the biggest group we can. So, post up your thoughts and we can change if necessary.

I would normally skip out on the family birthday thing, but because my wife's step dad is turning 70, I suppose I should show up for once! Ha

Now that my Sunday is free from family chaos, I'll be at the r/c track racing that day. Depending on what time we'd be leaving, I could meet up after the races and join.

If the plan is going to be Sunday the 26th, and the departure time would be 6pm (or later), I could definitely make that. Any earlier, and I'd be out.

Even better...I found out the party is at 1pm, so I'll be able to go either Saturday or Sunday, 'cause the party should be over by 4-5pm.

I got out of closing on Saturday (i work til 5 but I should have time to meet up with everyone at 6) and I have Sunday off so either day would work for me also. I like the idea of rolling uni in a big pack though so saturday would be funner ;)

So, with that response we will keep everything as planned on Saturday August 25th.

Wait... so, is this just driving to stillwater and back? I thought the original plan was to cruise through some of the windy roads along the st croix river, or is that still in the mix somewhere?

Not to worry, I will have some routes to choose from with plenty of twisties to enjoy. Back roads FTW!

we should stroll out to elko and watch the school bus races and the drift demo and the race cars. that be fun. it starts at seven on saturday. just an idea. i org said still watch just cuz thats where the last cruise i went on was to but now that 36 is closed i dunno how to get there
