What: MNMazda 2011 Fall Cruise
When: Saturday, September 17th (final meet time TBD)
Where: Mpls/StP -> Leinenkugels Brewery (Chippewa Falls, WI) via some scenic backroads
Why: What kind of a dumb question is that???
Who: Any member of MNMazda who wishes to attend (and non-members by invitation)

I wonder if they have something similar to the 'short tour' at the Coors Brewery in Golden, CO. There you can opt for the short tour which is just the elevator to the beer tasting room, and have your free samples lol. Should be in for this work permitting.

I'm in just went to the dells last weekend wasn't a bad drive, maybe a hotel reservation for overnight would be good or was everyone planning on a drive home after a few beers lol...

FWIW, MitsuStyle has made Chippewa Falls the destination for two cruises so far. We've stayed in the Country Inn & Suites, and the Avalon Hotel right next to it. From there we do the typical hotel shenanigans in the pool and rooms for a bit in the afternoon, then we all headed to a nearby bar for dinner and partying.

There is a place just down the road from the hotels called Loopy's, they have good food and drinks, and have 3 sand volleyball courts out back with its own bar. In the cooler months the sand is heated and is covered with a done and you can play at your own will if a league isn't going on. We were there with 30 people this spring and ended up having that whole bar in the dome all to ourselves. The kicker is that they took our entire group to the bar from our hotel and back for FREE. All we did was tip the drivers well and they were more than happy to serve us. Call ahead if this is something you'd like to do and they will accommodate you.

I don't know that I have the chops to plan an overnight cruise, but if someone wants to spearhead the efforts of planning the evening shenanigans and lodging, we can definitely make it happen. Or at least make it an option for those who want to.

all i can say is wow its so cool to find a group of mazda owners in minnasnowta i cant wait to meet some of you all an do some cool things i'm game for the Leinie Lodge run if thats cool with you guys an if its an invite only cool to i will just wait to get to know peepd on a wednesday meet or even maybe at that monday gig
