We are discussing the iphone version in here, which doesn't 'connect' with the facebook version. I think you just use your screen-name for the facebook one.

How does it decide who you can fight with?
This one guy keeps kicking my ass and taking all my funds but He is why higher level then me and I can't beat him.

From lvl 29 to 115, you need 300 exp to level. That's 250 energy if you get the items to do the Fed Reserve Job. From 115 to 315 you need 500... so save some skill points to increase your energy up to 425 when you hit 115, if you're going for max leveling.

If you show up on someone elses 'fight' screen they can fight you, level and strength don't play into it much I don't think. I don't know exactly how it decides who shows up though.

As for the combat system, it picks one defense item, one weapon, and one vehicle for each member of your mafia, I don't know if it just picks the best items, or if it's at random. But you want to make sure you have enough weapons/vehicles/armor for however many people are in your mafia.

I'm not sure that's how it works... I noticed that your combat scores go up as long as you buy new weapons... doesn't matter if you've got enough people to use them. Are you sure on that?

From what I read in the in-game help that's how it sounded. And I've had a higher weapon/armor score than others and it still says I was outgunned so I dunno.

Hmmm, yeah. In game help seems to indicate that it's one weapon per mafia member, and they will choose the best stuff. I have enough of the absolute best stuff (including the rocket launcher unlocked at lvl 99 now), I'll have to try it out.

I spent all my points in energy and got up to 250 energy, from there you can level up to 115 because you'll have enough energy to go straight through the level on one full energy bar.

Unless the iPhone game does energy more quickly or you are the type that generates energy more quickly, you can go 12 hours with 144 energy points so you should always be generating. Also, the points per level seems to be less variable in the iPhone edition.

In the Facebook version, only weapons/armor/vehicles your mafia members can utilize (one per member) count. It picks the best items.
