The Rules - Break any rules and I will modkill you... (remove you from the game)

> Fundamental
1. Unless your role PM tells you otherwise. DO NOT DISCUSS THIS GAME OUTSIDE OF THIS THREAD. No talking about it in the chatbox, no PMing other players, nothing.
2. Be courteous to your fellow player. This is just a game, and any blatant personal attacks on another player will not be tolerated. Remember that everyone just wants to have fun!
3. DO NOT quote any PM communications you have with the moderator. This includes role PMs. (Paraphrasing is allowed though.)
4. Any form of encryption or alteration is forbidden. This includes bona fide encryption, spoiler text, and unreadable text. I reserve the right to judge on a case-by-case basis.
5. You are NOT, under ANY circumstances, allowed to edit posts in this thread. If you make a typo, or misformat something, you must leave it alone. If you want, I can edit your post to fix such things (ask me to, otherwise I won't), but you CANNOT do this. You can create a new post and use the acroynm "EBWOP" (edit by way of post) to indicate a double post is meant to fix the first if you want.


> Voting, lynching and deadlines
6. For your vote to be counted, it must be bold, and in the form vote: playername. The colon is optional. You may also vote to No Lynch by posting Vote: No Lynch.
7. If you wish to remove your vote and be "not voting", unvotes must be bold to count. (UNVOTE) Although it is not necessary, it is very much appreciated if you could unvote before changing your vote.
8. A lynch will occur at n/2 + 1 vote then rounded down, where n is the number of players currently alive. Once a lynch is achieved, votes may not be changed. (A majority must be achieved).
9. At a deadline, rule 8 will still be in play. If there is not a majority, then nobody will be lynched and night will begin.
10. If a lynch occurs, then the game enters ‘twilight’, where all alive players except the lynchee may converse until I lock the thread and confirm the lynch. No votes may be changed during twilight.
11. Once you are dead, you may no longer post.

12. All days will have a fixed deadline of 1 weeks. I may grant extension depending on how the game is progressing and overall player activity.
13. All nights will have a deadline of 48 hours. This deadline may be shortened if ALL players send me a PM asking for night to end early.

14. This game is setup with 7 town and 2 scum. Any, none, or all of the following power roles can be present:

Mafia - Roleblocker and Ninja
Town - Cop, Doctor, Tracker, and Watcher

Normal Town Player (Townie)
You are a townie. You have no special abilities. You simply have to post up and try to figure out who the scum is. Vote for them and try to save the town!

Town Cop
You are a town cop. At night, you may investigate one other player. When night falls, send me a PM simply stating "investigate" and the name of the player you would like to investigate. I will reply back and tell you if that player is scum or town.

Town Doctor
You are a town doctor. At night, you may protect one other player (NOT YOURSELF). When night falls, send me a PM simply stating "protect" and the name of the player you would like to protect. If that player is targetted by the mafia for a night kill, they will not die.

You win when all of the scum have been eliminated.


Town Tracker
You are a town tracker. At night, you may track one other player (NOT YOURSELF). When night falls, send me a PM simply stating "track" and the name of the player you would like to track. If that player performs a night action you will be notified who that person targets, but not what action they tried to perform.

Town Watcher
You are a town watcher. At night, you may watch one other player (NOT YOURSELF). When night falls, send me a PM simply stating "watch" and the name of the player you would like to watch. If that player gets a night action performed on them you will be notified who targeted that person, but not what action they tried to perform.

MAFIA


Mafia Goon
You are a mafia goon, along with your partner ______ . Your goal is to eliminate all town players so that only your side remains; you win if this happens. During the Day, try to blend in with the rest of the players, and get someone lynched.

You may talk with your partner at Night via PM, and ONE of you can send me a choice via PM of who you would like to kill.

Please confirm you are ready to play by PMing me back telling me your role.

Note: You may talk with your partner privately during confirmations to plan strategy, but no night actions will take place until Night One..


Mafia Roleblocker
You are a mafia roleblocker, along with your partner _______. Your goal is to eliminate all town players so that only your side remains; you win if this happens. During the Day, try to blend in with the rest of the players, and get someone lynched.

You may talk with your partner at Night via PM, and ONE of you can send me a choice via PM of who you would like to kill.

During the night, you may also send me a PM stating "roleblock" and the name of the player you would like to block. This action will prevent cop or doctor actions from occurring. I will not tell you if you are successful or not, though.

Please confirm you are ready to play by PMing me back telling me your role.

Note: You may talk with your partner privately during confirmations to plan strategy, but no night actions will take place until Night One.


Mafia Ninja
You are a mafia ninja, along with your partner _______. Your goal is to eliminate all town players so that only your side remains; you win if this happens. During the Day, try to blend in with the rest of the players, and get someone lynched.

You may talk with your partner at Night via PM, and ONE of you can send me a choice via PM of who you would like to kill.

Since you are a ninja, you have mastered the art of being unseen. That means if you perform the night kill, a tracker or watcher will not be able to see it and if they properly target the correct person, they will not see anything happening, but the action still occurs. This will not prevent a doctor from saving the victim or a cop from investigating you.

Rules Clarifcation: Since the possibilities of watcher/tracker/ninja exists in this game ONE scum has to tell me he is the one doing the night killing. The first scum to PM me the kill target will be the person performing the deed. If no one PMs me with a kill target, no kill happens. The non-killing member can PM me to ask if a kill target has been confirmed and who it is.

Also, there is to be zero scum communication during the game day. The only time they can communicate in private is before the game starts, and after the lynch/no-lynch occurs and night falls. Once the game day starts again, all communications must cease.
