I always thought the 1997 retrim of the 626 was greatly to its detriment as a driver's car compared to the earlier models. It appears to be an LX-V6 model, which did not get the sporting upgrades of the ES model, for what they were worth on this generation. However, there is NO model badge under the "626" badge on the trunklid to be sure. That said, their mediocrity and lack of popularity have made them perennial deals used.
