Half-Breed Rebuild Day - Saturday 6/21/08

The fuse box is rebuilt, the donor car is all but in pieces, and all the parts I need are on order, so it's time for a rebuild event. Anyone with some spare time who would like to throw some wrenches around is welcome. I plan to get going around 10 or 11 am, and may go till around 9 pm or so (sooner if all goes well).

Things to do:
  1. Install MS3 Front Suspension w/Cobb Springs and FSB
  2. Install DISI Engine
  3. Remove Mz3 Fuel Tank and Install MS3 Fuel Tank
  4. Drop Rear Subframe on MS3 (3 Bolts left) and install Cobb Springs and RSB
  5. Drop Mz3 Rear Subframe and Install MS3 CBE and Rear Subframe

There are a few things I need to figure out before she will run (like a smashed connection on the CDFP that will need some TLC) but hopefully I can tackle these this week.

I think I will be able to come help for at least a little while, I have to pack as I'm leaving for Cali on Sunday morning but I should have the morning and afternoon free.

I'm not a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination but I'm willing to learn.

Count me in! Sounds like a blast. I will most likely be free on sat so I would love to help out, there is a slight chance that my cousin will be coming in that day from the airport so I might not be able to make it in that case.

I duno, never heard anything and the site going down didn't help matters. I ended up out too late and had too much to do sat morning/afternoon so I couldn't make it.

Nope wasn't cancelled, but with the site being down and whatever, no one from here was over, although a few of my friends were there to help. I worked on it all weekend and will be for the rest of this week, she's getting so close to being done. I'll post the details of what was done on my other thread.

Was thinking I might have people over this saturday, the 28th, to wrap up and fire her up, but if I'm lucky I'll be done before then.

Sorry man, I was at my buddy's body shop putting the front springs in till about noon, then ran to checkers for some goodies I needed. Got back close to 1 or so.

No problem, MM is easy, 2 bolts I think. I can show you what to do and you can use my tools.

Well if you're going to be working on your car this Saturday I have off in the afternoon/morning and I can swing by to help you on your car as well.

Everything is good for saturday, guessing I will be working on it most of the day starting around 11 or so.
