Just noticed this, it DOES include the Xbox HD DVD player, so if any of ya'll picked up an HD DVD player you should be getting $50 from best buy by May 1st. I don't regret picking up the HD DVD player i have and this makes it even better, save it till the BlueRay players come down in price a bit.

Yea HD dvd is now a dead format. Blu ray has won the war.

Yep Toshiba announced they will stop backing the format, so Blue-Ray it is, I'm not sure how long until everything will switch to BlueRay, I assume no new movies will come out on HD DVD though.

No new ones will come out on hddvd I am wondering when/if the hddvd only movies from the past few years will be brought to blu ray.

So does anyone know if the Xbox will get a Blu-ray player? I'm so glad I didn't buy the HDDVD player. I'm sure the titles that are on HD will move over to Blu-ray, I can't imagine that they wouldn't.
