Fender rolling meet! May 17-18

Does this liberal use of the heat gun risk paint damage though?
You keep the paint hot to the touch, but not so hot that it burns you. The kind of heat you end up applying is less than what it would see sitting in the sun on a hot day for an hour or so, so unless you absolutely cook the paint, it's not an issue. You just want it warm and pliable like James said.

Hmm, doesn't sound to bad of a deal. I've seen the threads on this but haven't read or learned much about it. It's to prevent rubbing with wider tires, correct? I guess I'll be down there at MAP to see exactly what you guys do. Mind bringing the roller to my place afterwards?

Did anyone get a heatgun? Who's bringing the jack and jackstands? I'll bring a torque wrench.

To torque the wheels back down.

I've got a jack and a pair of stands. I think tom is going to bring a second pair so we can prep one car while working on another. I'll bring a few 2x4 scraps to use for jacking also. I get paranoid about scraping off the undercoating and stuff... lol

Also, the heatgun came with the roller, which arrives this morning!!! woot!

Just a reminder, I've got the roller and heat gun through monday. If anyone else wants to get in, it's not too late! Only $20
