Fast & Furious shoot

here are some of the results from my attempt at tackling a major shoot for my final last quarter. I got drilled pretty hard on these during my critique so it's safe to say these aren't my BEST work since i've been in the program. I'll post most the ones i used for the critique first, then the rest.

and some of the other ones that i had been working on, there are a few that i tinkered with different photoshop effects on, but i don't think i have them converted as JPEGs yet..

I don't remember other guy having a light source outside of what you had... is there a reason your shots are so much darker than his?

Not bad. Too bad about the critique. It's hard to put something like this together. Photography is not easy. You learn something from every attempt though. Keep your head up and keep shooting.

The other guy's shots were brighter due to the settings he used, but many of his are overexposed. Best shot of the night by either photographer is the RX-7 imo. The detail and lighting are beautiful and it doesn't hurt that the car is gorgeous anyway...lol Sucks about the chiggs flaking, but ultimately it comes down to sharp, clear, well-composed shots. Just having a hot model does not a great photographer make, but I think your pics turned out pretty well overall A. A little dark, as Tom mentioned, and I didn't see your typical creativity with regard to camera angles. The lighting was a challenge, but most of the pictures are from a straight-on point of exposure. I'm used to seeing pics taken from unique angles...along the lines of the vehicles you're photographing, or from down low angling up etc.

Thanks pete. I know squat about photography itself, though I do know a thing or two about light exposure... I figured other guy had just let it go longer.
