I had mentioned this a while back when the fight was announced. I'll be getting the UFC 91 PPV event on Sat Nov 15th. 9pm CST if the start of the fight.

I'm kinda hoping that Couture beats him down, but I think Brock will win if he can control the fight when it goes on the ground.

Ivan, you're welcome to come over and watch the event. The rest of the card is pretty solid as well.

Yeah, the only thing that worries me is if Brock gets past Couture's guard. Brock is so damn big, once he's controlling the mat, it's all over. The other wild card is the fact that hitting Brock in the head is kinda like hitting a cast iron stove. Doesn't really do you a lot of good. I think for Randy to win, he's going to have to pummel the shit out of Brock and hope he wears him out.

Ya know, I watched the press for this on ufc.com and Randy seems to be more "glad to be back, should be a good fight, good show for the fans" involved. Brock seems to be more focused on taking the belt from the old man and moving up the ranks for the next fight.

I can't wait for this!

They are raising some very strong concerns with this weekends PPV. The UFC had a very tuff time filling the full 3 hours with PPV material due to all the first round endings. Might be interesting to see what they do about this, if anything.

more fights? I like that they had all the off TV stuff thrown on the air. There were a few good fights like that.

On the topic of the fight itself, Lesnar looked freakin SCARY that night. When I went to UFC at the target center (the only reason I got this PPV in fact) Lesnar looked wore out and basically sat on Herring the entire fight. He looked wore out this time too, but damn, when he got some wind in him, Couture was in a world of hurt.
