Well, I got dragged into this uber-clusterfuck at work this week, and it looks like I'm going to have to work both Saturday and Sunday. I really wanted to go to this, but it just ain't in the cards. What sucks is I'm probably going to have to work next Saturday, my birthday, too. Boooooooo.

I never got into chai. The fanciest I'll go is a mocha, cause damned if coffee and chocolate isn't one of the best beverage combos evar... until someone figures out how to work beer into the mix.

Have you had the new Caribou mochas with actual melted chocolate versus a powder or syrup?

Chai can be good... can be even better with a shot of espresso added.

I have once, but I got it with milk chocolate... I think dark chocolate is much better suited for a coffee drink, so I'll have to try one again.

I'll warn you the dark chocolate is VERY dark, according to a friend of mine who had it. If you're not into the ultradark chocolates, you might want it blended with milk.

Extra-dark chocolate is my favorite. And after trying it, I would actually prefer darker chocolate. Even with an extra shot of espresso, it was still a bit sweet for my taste.

Also, we'll have to plan this further in advance next year, so we don't get so many people bailing on us
