right, but do you want to spend all that time washing, waxing and detailing only to drive home in the rain? you might as well dump a bucket of lake water all over your car once you finish detailing. I'll wait for the next one i think. To all that go have a good time :)

So I think I'm probably the last person here who hasn't bummed some RO time from someone who owns one... Anybody here who'd be willing to let me borrow theirs for a body panel or two, and give me some tips on applying polishing compound? I don't need to do the whole car, I just want to get a feel for how to properly clean up light scratches and whatnot.

Last time the pros were just hanging out for the most part. They'll pretty much ignore ya unless you specifically ask for advice.

I know Michael did some wetsanding on a couple scratches on my car and some claying of a section when I realized I had spraypaint on my car :/

Talked to Jesse yesterday, sounds like he'll be there to take people on testdrives and chat and whatnot. Hopefully the weather will be okay, but that looks unlikely. In any case, apparently the new RX-8 R3 handles even better than the original version. o.0

Looks like I unfortunately won't be able to make it. The wife got food poisoning late last night and still isn't feeling so hot, so we get to take a trip to urgent care when they open this morning.
