*COMPLETED* - 1st Annual Fall BBQ/Car Show @ Modern Automotive Perf.

This is going to be the biggest get together of the fall season! Many local clubs, forums and sponsors have teamed up to put this event together. This is going to be a completely free show. There is NO cost to enter your car in the show and there are going to be some awesome prizes for the winners. The only thing you have to pay for is food which is going to be prepared by an award winning professional BBQ company called we’re smoking now out of Columbia Heights, MN. Modern Auto Performance will also have their new Dyno open for a dyno day. So come on out and enjoy a lot of beautiful cars and some amazing food for the first annual Fall BBQ and Car show.

Here are the details

Date: Sept 14th, 2008

Time: Car registration starts at 12:00 and the BBQ/Show starts at 1:00pm

Place: Modern Automotive Performance in Plymouth (see www.maperformance.com for directions)

Food: Professional BBQ including award winning pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and pop/water.

Car show Judging: Awards for best of show 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, highest horsepower for the dyno challenge and more to come.

as a fellow member of mnmazda and tfd! we really hope a lot of you guys can come and represent the mazda community! any and every car and person should come if you can make it. so put down the rockband controllers and drumsticks, take a break from the double buffalochicken bacon and cheese "heartatack" sammiches, clean the tools out the hatches and get out to this event!!!

I think this will be a good event, the only thing I hope it doesn't do is take people away from the Mazda dyno day a couple weeks later at MAP.

i wouldnt worry AJ, the mazda guys are always true to eachother. The dyno is just going to be open so whoever wants to dyno there car can. People from mitsustyle, mnsubaru, mnnissan, mnsc, and d town will also be attending this event. i was planning on goin to the mnmazda dyno day anyways lol

Would be nice to see some of the higher HP cars on the rollers as well.

hell ya it would, i hope some of the high HP dsm's come or some stangs! sounds like sound waves is gonna be there with some cars and also tool time is going to come and give some stuff for prizes. This thing just keeps getting bigger! lol

Is there a time frame for the show portion? With my regular 3 I'm going to wait to hit the dyno until the mnmazda event, but I'd like to make it to see all of the rides that show up. Any idea on what time awards will be dealt out?

funny you say that matt, mnsubaru is a sponsor for the show and they have made a "sticky" in their events section for it.
