Ehhhh.... if you follow the blog link back to the original NWS page, all it says is that there are some pixels indicating speeds up to 130mph, and makes absolutely no conclusions about whether those pixels can reliably indicate an individual car or if they are just noise. I'd be inclined to believe the latter, though I wouldn't doubt people routinely drive 100+ on remote texas roads.

Where the hell did you guys get the idea these are Texas roads? According to the caption it says its outside Chicago and the two interstates only run side by side in IL.
