See, there is so much verbage there that I can't tell, nor care to try, what's what. I don't care about a school or anything, just an event to show up, pay, make a few runs, go home. The schedule is here: http://www.mnautox.com/forums/showthread.php?13302-2010-MAC-Event-Schedule
Also, advanced signup for the events is done online at myautoevents.com, opening 1 month before the event takes place. They do usually fill up fairly quickly, but last year I showed up to 3 events without signing up and ran all three. You have to show up early (right when registration starts) and get on a wait list, but it works.MAY 8...........AUTOCROSS - MOWOG 1, VALLEYFAIR

You really do want to go to one of the novice schools. You will learn so much about how much you don't know how to drive, especially when your car gets out of control. I may or may not have done a 180 unintentionally. Also, having in instructor observe your driving and point out all the things you're doing wrong helps you much faster than trying to learn on your own. I got about 15 runs in yesterday and I hear you only get 6 runs on a normal competition day. There is no substitute for wheel time, you will get a lot more at a novice school event.See, there is so much verbage there that I can't tell, nor care to try, what's what. I guess I just don't care to spend that much time dealing with school and instructors and stuff. Gets to be a long day and I just can't spend that much time (2 fulls days) doing car shit anymore with the kiddo. You really do want to go to one of the novice schools.
