I just bought a set of extra lights for the Z06 that I'm planning on getting tinted pretty soon. My old boss tinted 2 of my vehicle's lights and they turned out fantastic. He uses black paint, clears and buffs them for a very reasonable price. A few others on this forum had some of their lights done last year and as far as I know are very satisfied with the results.
I'm pretty open as to the timing of all this. His turnaround time has been just a couple days so if I get him the lights on a weekend I can have them in your hands on a Porky's meet that Wednesday. The more lights the better so he can save on material costs.
I believe pricing last year was as follows:
- $75 for a set of tails.
- $35 for sidemarkers, corners, misc. small lights.
- I'll talk to him about a complete package deal. Pricing is tentative for now until I talk to him and get specifics.
He can do anything from a light smoke to full on midnight black. The more specific you
are about what you want the better. Pics of examples help too!
