Another Rx-7 checking in.

Saw the thread on the Rx7club.com forums when I was looking something up last week, thought I'd drop in and say hi. :)

I've had the same FC for at least five years, drove it daily for most of those and played around with auto-x for a couple of years. Anyways, here she is, my 1987 Rx-7 GXL.







Any of the Northstar Rotary guys still around? I kinda lost touch with the other Rx-7 and auto-x guys after my son was born, still see a couple of FCs around town though, one off 7th in St. Paul, up at the Oakdale Best Buy and the Walmart in West St. Paul.

I used to be with Northstar years ago, but lost touch with them myself...

That is a drop dead gorgeous car... I think you've got mine beat ('88 Convertible).

Beautiful Car! Haven't seen an engine bay that clean in a FC for a while. Now i know that an RX-7 shoot is going to be in order this summer with as many as we have been getting lately!

Welcome, it's a great looking 7 you got there. i think you're the 5th person with a RX-7 to join up w/in the last month or two.

i was too late to join the northstar rotary club, i think they shut down right after i got here to minnesota almost 3 years ago if i am correct

That's one clean FC.

Watch out MS3 folks.... Just as MSPs were bumped off as king of mnmazda, it looks like you guys are starting to lose out to the OG rotaries!

On a less wierd tone, damn son, that is one CLEAN FC. That is actually one I would not immediately suggest you drop an ls1 in. And I do that to everyone.

Kind of... Its down for a turbo conversion but it was more or less forced when the pulsation dampner took a crap and started a fire... But yes it is being converted and my wiring harness should be here next week so I should have it done soon

I have a build thread on 7club and here where you can keep an eye on things
