Is AWD necessary? After driving the wife's fwd + snow tires, I'd never consider AWD required in MN again if you are staying on public roads.

News update: Wife's car on glare ice with the General Articmax tires...we lived and drove on the ice. cool story bro.

Ice is ice, short of a dedicated studded tire or chains the difference is marginal. Driving in snow is more common that driving on ice in most cases that my wife would encounter. Any dedicated snow tire will crush an all season.

Hey AJ. Not sure, but I'll text you next time we go! Typically there are handguns, rifles, and occasionally shotguns there with us.

We have the General Artic's on my wife's GTI, it drives through the snow like a snowmobile! (well not quite, but does damn good for a turbo fwd).

AR-15/M4 style "assault rifle" in a .223 or .556 chamber is my next "toy" gun. Of course the wife wants hand guns, so I'll probably pick up a few 9mm's before that happens.

No workbenches, but I do have shelves around my entire garage for bin storage even above the garage door.
