These two things together still have me suspicious of Ben to be honest - that coupled with what happend on D1....yeah

I'd like to be given a chance to explain myself for D1.

What about D1 has you suspicious? The fact that i didn't think AJ was scum but hammered him anyways? (Do note: I DID turn out to be right when i said he wasn't scum.) If this is what you're suspicious about, consider that i was following your lead when we had the discussion prior in which you pointed out that it was beneficial for Town to ALWAYS lynch on the first day. I made that happen. I hope you're not suspicious of me simply because i followed your logic. That would be silly.

Multiple things Ben - the initial trolling of movie quote, pictures, not wanting to nit-pick things. Saying our decision really doesn't matter and we just have to lynch someone, basically you just haven't come across very Town on most/ any of your posts from Day 1.

Add to that - we had many hours left in Day1, not hours at night or on a weekend but prime time during the day hours. For someone who was so strongly feeling that AJ was NOT Scum I don't understand why you would vote and put the votes needed to lynch down to 1 left vs trying to convince us of a target you believed WAS more likely to be scum. I made it clear that I was leaning towards AJ, but was open to suggestions to vote elsewhere because I was not 100% sold that AJ was scum. Which is also why I hadn't thrown my vote out there yet.

And yet... i'm scummy because i voted the same way you were leaning.

In the end, i voted to get a lynching done. I had no strong feelings on anyone, so i was trying to do a thing, so we had something to react to and go off of. AJ voted for himself, wanted out, you were thinking it was AJ, everyone was thinking it was AJ, so i made it happen.

If that somehow makes me scum, then i really have no idea what your thought process is.

And seriously... can we stop with the movie quote thing? (It was ONE. ONE = quote. More than one = quotes. One quote.) The PICTURE (singular) was Philosoraptor. A thinking reptile. ONE reptile.

Voting (and it's timing) is far different than 'leaning' towards voting. Again I'm not questioning lynching AJ, I was willing to go down that path as well, I am questioning the TIMING of doing so along with all the other things I already mentioned. Just following the pack when you believe someone is Town is silly when you still have time to try and shift the course of things. I'm not the only one that said they would be willing to consider other targets.

Picklz- honest question- Why the major issue with that? Sure, it was unconventional, and possibly retarded- but why not work with it? Seems to me that he may have left more out there than expected.

I believe I posted the equivalent before- but i'll go ahead and re-hash. Ben posts the quote "THE GREATER GOOD" a chant spoken by the townspeople in the movie Hot Fuzz. Now if you've seen it, you know that the "townsfolk" in that movie were actually scumbags, killing off whoever didn't play along with their shens. Ben posting that makes me think he's actually scum, working towards "the greater good" which in this case, for him, is a scum win.

Please post the interchange and quotes that you find interesting that are leading you to this conclusion, I am interested because I don't really have a strong read on anyone at this point - Ben still is on my radar from D1 a little bitl and Josh now is playing the I don't have to answer card on Day 2 which bothers me.

By voting early for a target he admits he thought was Town - the only thing Ben did was allow a hammer vote to happen hours before we needed it to, and allow a townie to die. Sure you COULD have suspected that maybe the hammer vote was scum if it came early as it did but A) I don't believe scum would be that silly / careless and B) The person who hammered the vote ended up being Town (and a very valuable town member at that).
