My journey after the MS6

So I know most of you have followed my progress, but for those who haven't - here goes:

Around October 2009 I sold my MS6. I was fully bolted and parted nearly everything out - was making around 300awhp (never dyno'd with the mani) and 335awtq. Sold it to a good friend for some cash and his '06 CBR600RR. Thought a bike would be my cure for speed, but our MN weather really only allows a few months of good driving. So I ended up deciding to sell it and try to capture my realistic dream of owning a C5 Z06. I listed the bike for sale and just a couple weeks was all it took to sell, and at the same time I found a C5Z that was local and had everything I wanted. The logistics of everything worked out perfectly. I sold the bike on Saturday, picked up the C5Z on Monday (today). I'm still looking for a complaint or regret...

On with pics!

C6 Shift Knob FTW...also how do you like teh HUD?
Sharp car man!
It does have the C6Z shifter too so it's a bit shorter throw. Loving the HUD so far but it displays some useless junk so I have to tweak it a bit to show the basics.

Glad to see you finally got what you were looking for JT! That engine is CLEAN...I need to find out how the former owner managed to keep it that spotless, although I'd almost feel bad if my engine was cleaner than Tom's whole car 364 days a year (it was lookin' awesome possum on detail day Tom!). Is it straight stock? Any plans for it?

After I saw the engine I was sold. It's held up very well for being 8 years old. Engine's all stock - it does have a C6Z shifter, tint, optima, partition, and a Flowmaster CBE but that'll get taken off when I get the Borla's. Plans for this year are intake, cam, full exhaust and a tune - $4k and good for 430whp. We'll see how it all comes together - I'm certainly in no rush this time around.

That thing is uber clean, have fun! Wow.
Thank you, sir.

As tame and daily drivable as this car is, it begs to get in the upper RPM range. There is zero hesitation and it pulls hard all the way to redline. N/A has really opened my eyes to usable power.
