hey guys figured i should introduce myself i have a black 89 rx7 convertable that some of you have seen before it was mine cause my buddy came to a few meets with it. i am looking for a transmission right now because i destroyed first gear its now round and that doesnt work so well im looking forward to coming to meets this summer

V8's>Rotary. As far as upkeep for someone who is lazy goes. And ability to make power.

Not in a straight line, stock for stock I can think of DOZENS of v8's that when swapped into a rx7 would RAPE a 20b.

Various ferrari motors, lamborghini motors, ls9, ls7, potentially ls1/2, ford gt v8 the list goes on and on.

its all good i have a mustang for the v8 the rx7 is staying rotary i just need to get around to replacing the transmission
