WTB: New DD for me!

I'm looking for a new car. I have been looking in the 8-9k area. Manual trans! I was looking at some older 3 series BMW's, some new ish Miata's, WRX's... Something fast and reliable that will last me a while. If you know anyone that is selling a car that might be a good fit let me know or post a link. I'm scouring craigslist daily for good deals.

usually i drive it about 8000 miles a year... most of my driving is the trip from Andover to Duluth aka about 135 miles. Holding... PHSHHH i don't need much space it is just me and sometimes one passenger.

Still have it. One of my good friend really wants it and after 3-4 years with this car the blemishes are starting to get to me. I kinda am digging the late 90's bmw's 3 series

I'm looking to sell mine. $7,500 is what I'm wanting. I've had it for like 6 years and I'm just kinda "bored" with it.

edit: BMW sounds cool, but the repairs could be expensive...you looking for a M3? What about a 2000 M5!?

i don't think i would want an actual m3 for insurance reasons. I'm not sure I was thinking maybe a WRX would be a good fit for me or a turbo'd lancer or turbo'd legacy
