Toms 2010 gonna be broke and probably divorced mod extravaganza!

So- we all know what I'm rocking so far.
CP-e Nano SRI
Forge BPV
Prosport white/blue 52mm boost gauge
MAP stage 3 intake mani.
MAP test pipe.
20% tinted windows
Blacked out Badges/debadged Mazdaspeed/3 badges.

Recently ordered because I somehow memorized my credit card number-
Rally Armor Mudflaps
Hotchkis front and rear sway bars.
CP-E Throttle inlet pipe
Muteki SR48 Neo Chro open ended lug nuts. (Yes they're rainbow colored, fuck you I like em).
Improved Craft Cruise JDM adonized wicked pink shift knob. (It's wicked fucking pink, I'm gonna rock it.)

To be ordered- (Guaranteed)
Rota DPT 17x9 +42mm offset- likely to be bronze because Zoeb tells me all thats left is bronze and steel gray. If I hate em, I'm takin em down to the local spray booth and getting em painted WRB with a gold pearl. Or perhaps royal purple with a blue pearl. Something gaudy.
Either Dunlop Direzza z1 star specs or BFG G-force KDW2's size 245/40-17. Not sure on the tires, but it will be one of those two. KDWS are about 100$ cheaper, but the star specs are getting slightly better ratings.

Next in line when money allows-
Corksport DP
RE Amemiya spoiler lip (CF of course)
Either LAIC or FMIC, depends on what kind of mood I'm in when I have the $$$. LAIC gets me more geek points, FMIC is easier to deal with.
Battery relocation.
Grimmspeed EBCS ( I want one for the next mod on this list)
CP-E Standback and PnP.
MSD Dashhawk (maybe not, if I can find a cheap netbook, and/or my laptop doesn't shit the bed)
AEM wideband.
Gauges of various indeterminate monitoring functions.
Racing Beat Catback.
Koni Yellows, Eibach springs.

After that, who knows. Maybe more aero, maybe Brides.....

I say get your performance stuff that's planned done first, then nail the tune and work on the aero and handling afterwards. Problem is the most expensive thing on your list is the actual tuning device. I will say you're gonna kick your ass not getting the throttle plate fix flash. Their turnaround has been same week you place the order.

I don't know much about the dashhawk 'cause my car(s) haven't been able to use them. But they can have a wideband built in so you don't need an AEM unit.

Anyway, you should look into getting the dashhawk before you go nuts because it would be a good idea to keep tabs on what's going on with your car. Plus they are pretty cheap, I think?

Also, you'll never be happy with your wheels, we all know that.

I am aware of the wheels thing, thats why I;m getting Rotas. They're cheap and easy to replace. I wanna finish my exhaust since the intake side is DONE, with the CPE TIP, and I'd like to cross another complete mod off the list. I do want to do some sort of data logging, and a netbook actually seems to make the most sense to me, as I can use it to tune as well, and all I gotta do is find wifi to upload stuff. I kind of want to avoid the Dashhawk actually, but it seems to be the most efficient way to deal with the CP-E. Ill be doing more research as time goes on.

I'd still prefer to have a dedicated WB gauge. That's one of those things like boost and oil pressure, where you want immediate notification if anything is awry.

I would like to see you go down to holiday and get one of those unlimited car wash deals if your gonna some purdy rims.

WOW....seeing Tom's car actually IN a carwash would probably be like seeing a unicorn or seeing one of Matt's checks bounce!

Luke, already planning on it. 20$ a month for a touchless wash a block from my house, as soon as the new one opens, it's on like donkey kong. Now I just gotta figure out a way to trick the barcode reader so I can use it on the Mini too.

As for suspension go with Konis and springs. Cheap coilovers are dumb, ask me how I know.

Don't forget to add in some whoa with your go. At least some nice pads, may I suggest Ferodo DS2500s, and maybe stainless brake lines if you feel saucy. Stock rotors are just fine.

How much power will this get you when it's all said and done?

I'm hoping 300whp, assuming I don't do something stupid and try and spray it. I keep hearing mixed reviews about e85 tuning, some ms3's love it, others hate it.

Thanks for the suggestion on the ferrodos, I hadn't even thought of them, I was thinking either EBC or Hawk. Goodrich lines are somwhere in there, though I am mad hesitant about bleeding my own brakes.

Thanks for the suggestion on Konis and springs, that makes me feel better, and I can just do it piece by piece instead of needing 2 grand for HKS coils. Plus with the wheel setup I plan on running, I'm honestly not sure i'd clear coils. I'll be getting upper camber mounts for the front, and rear camber arms as well once the suspension goes in, just a matter of what to do first.

Brakes are not a big deal, two people makes bleeding an easy task. Let me know when the time comes, I'd be glad to help.

I say get springs first, put them on the stock struts and see how you like it, something quality like from Swift. If you want it to be even more firm or to have the adjustable dampening then throw some Konis in there.

We had to bleed the brakes on the Celica, Tom. I know nothing about it and Erik got some brake fluid in his eye. :p Otherwise no prob!

Thanks for all the offers for help y'all, I truly appreciate it. I know a lot of you have had to deal with my insanity both good and bad recently (more bad than good, ask Erik and Joelle) and it means a lot that you'd offer to help. I'll be looking into Goodridge lines soon I suspect.

Small update- talked to the suspension gurus on Grassroots (they're good with the smart making) and Konis and Eibachs seem to be the right idea. Swift springs were also mentioned in that thread, looks like I have some suspension research to do. Sumbitch is gonna be a fuckin gokart before long. Then mebbe I start adding CF hood and hatch. And the lip that picklz will kill me for. I'm still thinking DG splitter too.....

Customizing the appearance and the driving experience are all part of making a car one's own. I may not agree with all of the items, but they really are both important.

All in good fun. I see a CF hood and hatch as go fast, since they make the car lighter. Colin Chapman once said "To make a car faster, add lightness". The ms3 is a piglet.
