LOL man that was a funny ass conversation. I had lots of extra circular fun with the older lady friend this past weekend to try and do just that ;)

Hopefully I find out today, I'm tired of waiting. Coy from BGR let me borrow his 300c with full limo tint and 22"'s though..feel so gangsta in duluth with it :p

hahah I've had 2 coworkers go...OHHH thats what all that glass is from lol. Yes both her right hand side windows.

Uhhhh sounds like it wont be totaled. The custom coaches shop said with out removal of the bumper and headlights they think its around 5k :/ I may have it towed to another dealer tomorrow if their full estimate is low.

I would say take it to Ogstons for a higher priced estimate. They are generally more expensive than most. Though they do excellent work. That really sucks. I probly would have beat the woman. I hate idiot drivers.

well Farmers saw the car and totaled it. So I guess Im "good" but they still havent called yet to tell me how much they'll give me on the car... I had JUST put the new tires on, Cobb rsb and ground wire kit :(

I've been SS shopping though ;) found a white or red in the cities that I like.

Well I'm glad they totalled it. Should give you a good amount for it considering Jesse just sold his for $17k private party.

See if they will let you pull the RSB off, I had a truck get totaled a long time ago and was able to rip aftermarket shocks and a stereo out of it after they totaled it, so could be worth asking.

I'd make sure you push the fact that you have brand new tires on it too, push them to give you as much as possible for the vehicle.

They called me and offered me, 16xxx for the car then another bunch....came out to 17811.24 I was like...mmmm no. My car is the GT with everything but NAV, They just listed to me on the phone the things they saw in the car like, steering wheel buttons, cruise control. Im like you need to see the list of the GT options its worth more than that, plus I have BRAND NEW tires, Cobb RSB and shifter bushings, so I sent her a email with the GT options and receipts from my rsb an shifter bushings. I also said if you dont offer me enough for the parts I want to go pull them off. so that was Friday at like 2 and I didnt hear back yet.

Almost 18 for the car seems like a pretty fair offer to me. Most policy's aren't going to cover aftermarket parts unless you declare them up front, though you might get lucky and find out differently or they may let you pull them off, will depend on your adjuster. Nothing wrong with pushing them for more though :)

Make sure they up the amount for sales tax. You're entitled to sales tax as part of replacement cost. However, mods generally do not increase the value of the car. if you can provide the OEM stuff back (even uninstalled), they should have some flexibility in allowing you to remove the mods.
