Someone's doingitwrong.exeSo we sheared 2 drill bits completely in half trying to drill through the crashbar, project is indefinitely delayed until we can find a new way to drill through the crashbar.

lol, assuming since were kids we dont have nice tools.Yeah, cheapy slag bits from the bargain bin aren't gonna work.
wrong on every count, in fact you couldnt be more wrong.but thanks for your insight. Not to be a complete dick, but I'm going to take a wild guess here and say that you:
[] Used drill bits that you "think" were for metal
[] Used a cordless drill
[] Went way too fast
[] Didn't cool it down with anything
[] Didn't drill a pilot hole
[] Went with the largest drill bit all at once
.. How'd I do?
Alternatively, you can use this as a checklist for what not to do next time.
That or I had school like I told you we did.wrong on every count, in fact you couldnt be more wrong.but thanks for your insight.
we asked you to just bring the welder and grinder, but assumed you were busy pouting since we werent working on your car
You don't have to take it so personally. Just trying to help you out.Feel free to ask Pete and jimbone
I sure as hell didn't have good tools at that age. My first "tool kit" was a chinese box o tools from Fleet Farm that I got for Xmas.lol, assuming since were kids we dont have nice tools.
You only make that mistake once. Pretty much every tool I have is a Northern Industrial now.I sure as hell didn't have good tools at that age. My first "tool kit" was a chinese box o tools from Fleet Farm that I got for Xmas.
