So I have decided to say fuck stock and do mods for the rx7. I am going to shot for 200-220hp, I will be porting the engine, getting a carburetor, air intake, suspension kit, personalizing the body style, and I just bought the mazda furai muffler and getting a custom exhaust. I will prob not get to the paint job this year, but we will hope I will

I'd recommend a new radiator stock is cool and all but I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out w/ mods.

Me and my rotorhead friend mike will be doing all of the work besides the weilding and alingment, and a guy named tony that owns rx7 heaven is the expert we will turn to, he does custom exhaust for only $200, so basically all in my garage

Hmm, I would've figured that kind of work would require pretty specialized and/or precision machining equipment. Props for DIY!

Got a link or anything to a how-to on the porting? Just curious to see what you're going to be tackling...

There are some good porting templates out there for the 12a and the 13b engine.
