Anyone else not want this woman as the Vice President if she pulled crap like this when she was governor? Can she fuck things up any worse for the Republican's cause? Every new piece of information that comes out about her time as governor is more fodder for the Democratic party to use in their case as to why people shouldn't vote for McCain.

What scares me more than the fact that if McCain wins and then dies, she'd be President, is the unfortunately under-reported story that, as mayor, she expressed an interest in getting books she didn't like removed from the public library.

I've stopped paying attention to all this dirt-digging. I get enough of that at work by overhearing the die-hard Obama loonies at work who seem to absolutely revel in every unseemly detail and obscure quote that gets uncovered about Palin... to the point where 8-9am is basically "talk about how much you hate Palin and how disgusted you are by anyone who doesn't hate her".

The republican party has been absolutely destroyed by this point.... I don't think one even needs to bring up McCain-Palin as evidence of that. And this isn't even coming from someone with the typical liberal hate of all things republican. I feel for all the traditional conservatives out there because their party has pretty much been hi-jacked by Fox News neo-cons.

Some might say it's a good time to be a liberal, but with the republican party so jacked up, people are going to have pretty low expectations for Obama, so even if all the conservatives' worries about him come true, he'll probably still come out looking good in 4 years.

i was actually thinking about mccain for president and palin is hawt, but id bang palin, and leave before she says a word, cause she makes no sense when she speaks, hell, my mom who is from ecuador could do a better job as vp than palin, what scares me is when they asked her about the bail out plan she ranted about non sense, here is a clip and in about 5 min youll see what she said, makes no sense, and lets hope that mcain doesnt get into office with her, i dont like both candidates, but i think obama is a lesser of 2 evils, and i see no sense in voting independent cause imo its like not voting at all.

I've got to completely disagree with ya there. Voting for a candidate you don't truly believe in is the only way to waste your vote. The "big 2" parties would love nothing better than to perpetuate the idea that every year we only have 2 choices for president--that way they can continue to campaign with the "me=good, him=bad" mentality and avoid actually having to take a stance on the issues. The whole lesser of two evils concept is just a way to scare people into keeping their votes locked into the two major parties.

Can you imagine what elections would be like if all the people who voted for "the lesser of two evils" (either the dem or rep) instead cast their votes for a candidate who they felt represented their views??

I completely disagree with you, Ivan. I consider it far worse to vote for a candidate you do not support because they are "the lesser of two evils" than to vote for a third party candidate you do truly support. You essentially have sacrificed your own opinions and beliefs and bought into the false dichotomy the Republicans and Democrats want you to believe.

I do not have any information, but when my parents returned from spending 2 weeks in Alaska earlier this month....all they had to say was that *no one* up there likes her. Doesn't sound like she's got a good following from her home state. That should say something right there.
