First off i am painting my winter wheels, they are currently silver, and my car is red. i don't want to look like everyone else and the wheels are kinda plain to start with. Just wondering if there are any paint brands that people prefer or have had good luck with. looking for a relatively easy way to do it prob rattle can, want them too look good but like i said winter wheels so they don't have to be perfect.
any suggestions for colors and combination's or any other helpful comments are appreciated.

The one bit of advice I can give you is surface prep, surface prep, surface prep. Nothing will kill your hard work faster than an improper job of stripping, cleaning, sanding, and priming.

I sand blasted and painted my wheels. Thread Here

That is about as cheap as you can get to refinish wheels and expect them to look half way decent.

I will PM you his phone number. He is a one man show and his wife does all his phone calls and what not.

No clear coat and the paint held up great for a fall winter and spring. No signs of chipping or fading.

Sly. I'd say if this guy gives you a good price also. Then MNmazda could give him some good business :) I could be interested in this too as I am looking to paint my winter wheels. PM Nate?? PLZ!

I'M OFFENDED!
IT shouldn't. The media is designed to strip the finish without damaging the metal. A lot of times it's not even sand, but rather small glass beads.
